transformice ! -- transformice art #62 streaxx - 24/07/2018 _________________________________________________________________________________________________ dear mice, here is our fan art selection of the month! congratulations to: bloobunnyy, icoboo, danielapizco, grassbop, umseykaiju, niquettes-the-wolf, beaglek, nikea777, malufourela, sonicyss, kirbycp, jawrdayn, sankaritinn, tekkau, jellywabbit! to have a chance to get featured, make sure to post your art on deviantart with the keyword transformice :) we’re looking forward to see your art! no comments --! new fishing event: the forsaken capital streaxx - 28/06/2018 _________________________________________________________________________________________________ some time has passed since the last battle against the anvil god … the little mice were brave and together they defeated this vile creature. but since, the capital became a desert place … everything that made its glory once is now in ruins and everymice that lived there had to leave… but one mouse couldn’t stand to see the city in such a state and decided it was time to rebuild it back to its former glory . this mouse is not just an ordinary mouse: her name is berta , elisah’s high priestess , and as such, she would do anything for her goddess. imagine how she must feel when seeing this once sumptuous city dedicated to elisah’s glory soiled by trash in the water … the capital needs to be rebuilt and berta will need your help to make the city glorious again! during this two months long event , help her clean the surrounding waters from the trash : collect 5 specific pieces to rebuild a relic. bring berta 4 full relics so she can put the capital in order and bring the mice back to the city! who knows what the capital will look like once it’s rebuilt? you will also find exclusive items in the shop: good fishing to all, we’re counting on you! français » un certain temps s’est écoulé depuis la dernière bataille contre l’ anvil god … les petites souris étaient courageuses et ensemble elles ont vaincu cette vile créature… mais depuis, la capitale est devenue un endroit désert … tout ce qui a fait sa gloire d’antan n’est maintenant que ruines et toutes les souris qui y vécurent ont dû partir… mais une souris ne supporta plus de voir la ville dans cet état et décida qu’il était temps de la reconstruire pour lui redonner ses lettres de noblesses . cette souris n’est pas juste une souris ordinaire : son nom est berta , grande prêtresse d’elisah , et en tant que telle, elle ferait tout pour sa déesse. imaginez ce qu’elle peut ressentir en voyant cette cité dédiée à la gloire d’elisah, autrefois somptueuse, souillée pas les débris dans l’eau …. la capitale a besoin d’être reconstruite et berta aura besoin de votre aide pour rendre à cette ville sa gloire d’antan ! durant cette aventure de deux mois , aidez-la à nettoyer la ville des débris dans les eaux environnantes : collectez 5 morceaux spécifiques pour reconstruire une relique. rapportez 4 reliques complètes à berta pour qu’elle puisse remettre de l’ordre dans la ville et faire revenir les souris dans la cité ! qui sait à quoi ressemblera la capitale une fois reconstruite ? soon we will be celebrating the 8th birthday since we first revealed transformice to the world, and i wanted to take this opportunity to sum up briefly what we’ve been going through, and what’s the situation today. eight years ago, when tig and i released our wonky little game on the internet, we clearly had no idea how far it would take us. the game was never meant to welcome millions of players, and we’ve been doing our best to improve it over the years so it could, but it’s always been a bit whacky. transformice truly has exceeded all our expectations in every way, but it still has some flaws . from a technical point of view, it is hard to maintain and update, for it wasn’t designed to be such a huge project since the beginning, but moreover, it’s a simple game from a design point of view: a simple gameplay loop, get the cheese, go back to the hole. we’ve been trying to improve that loop over the years in many different ways: adding more gameplay modes (bootcamp, racing, defilante etc), adding more options for the shamans, more diversity in the map tools etc, but the fact is that you cannot improve a simple gameplay
